Every year my primary school holds a car boot sale. When I was there I would always be very involved on the day, either making the fairy floss or walking around with a tea cart with all my friends. Now I just go and walk around and buy a few things, every year seeing less and less people I know. Every time I go back I remember being young and silly, my whole world existing within the school fences. It makes me smile.

I always buy a few great things every year which makes me look forward to the next one. This year I did spend my 10c extremely wisely and picked up this little guy...



So cute! The lady was so happy to sell him, saying that he was her favorite as well but no one had bought him, and that he would be happy to get out of the box and come home with me.

Saturdaze

To try to keep sane and not as broke I am not working on Mondays anymore. Instead for one day I embrace the life of watching Oprah, going to places are are usually closed on the weekend, having nice long walks in the park and staying in my pjs for as long as possible doing folio work. I also get the odd job here and there to feed my piggy bank.

The only problem is that it confuses the hell out of me. Tuesdays feel like Mondays, and to top it off today I went into work, so it fees like Friday. So I am convinced tomorrow is Saturday. Stupid.

Clearly I need a calender. This one is lovely.

I have turned into one of those people who thinks about everything darn thing I buy. When I see a great ad or amazing design I buy that product in respect, despite it probably being higher in price. And yes, I wont buy that $2.45 box of biscuits in protest of a bad ad that annoys me, convinced that will teach them a lesson. Lately I haven't been able to afford much more than groceries, and I am actually sad enough to get excited when I find something new and cool.

Anyway, all I wanted to say as that not only is this apple juice the best apple juice I have ever tasted in my much experience in tasting apple juice, but the packaging is so cool that made me try it in the first place. Triangle bottles YAY!

I got excited about this poster because:

a) It looks freaking cool

c) The font is rad.

I know I am a nerd you don't need to tell me. I love fonts like that.

I love the smell of pencil sharpenings. I also love how they look, I always wanted to keep them instead of throw them in the bin. In primary school I remember thinking sharping all my pencils was a great way of getting out of doing some boring work. The lead would get stuck in the sharpener and I could hit it has hard as I wanted to get it out. I remember once getting in trouble because I kept hitting it on the side of a filing cabinet and it made a really loud sound and it annoyed the teacher. Its funny how a smell can bring back so many memories.

Typical. You can only find what you really want when you can't afford it. I also find lots of house things despite not having my own home. Hmmm. I love ceramic things, especially when they belong in the fridge. I like taking them out and they are super cold.

This is a fish school, giving you the ability to teach your fish how to play soccer and go through hoops. It even comes with a instructional dvd. Genius.
